The gym floor, space by space.
A full strength floor. A conditioning zone built for engine work. A Pilates studio behind its own door. Have a proper look before you set foot in the place.
115 Avoca Street, Randwick NSW 2031
Mon to Fri, 5am to 8pm. Sat and Sun, 7am to 4pm.
Showers, lockers and towels included
The facility is built around how you should train.
Most gyms are laid out to fit the most people into the smallest space. This one is laid out around what good training actually needs. Racks have room to walk a bar out. Dumbbells are racked in full pairs so you are not hunting for the other 22.5. The conditioning kit sits under the windows, and Pilates has a real studio rather than a shared strip of floor.
The numbers are capped for the same reason. Coached sessions are kept small and there is enough equipment on the floor that a full class can run at once, so you are never queuing for a rack or sharing one rower between four people. You get space to work, and a coach who can actually see you while you use it.
And if you would rather train on your own, the whole floor is yours during opening hours with no program pushed on you. The difference is the coaches standing on it, ready to spot a lift, check a position, or answer the question you have been guessing at for six months.
Train smart. Stay strong. Live well. It is painted across the wall for a reason. It is the standard the floor is set up to hold you to.
Three spaces. One coaching team.
Strength, conditioning and Pilates each get their own space to breathe in. A Collective membership opens all three.
Space to lift properly.
Squat racks and lifting platforms with enough space around them to actually walk a bar out. Olympic barbells and bumper plates stored at the rack, not across the floor. Dumbbells racked in full pairs from light to genuinely heavy, and a flat or adjustable bench at arm's reach from wherever you are standing.
Mirrors sit where you need to check a hip position rather than where they look good in a photo. Further down the floor there is a rig with pull up bars, cable and plate loaded machines, and a turf strip, for the days the session calls for something other than a barbell.

Built for engine work.
Concept2 rowers, Concept2 SkiErgs, air bikes, spin bikes, treadmills and weight sleds, lined up along a wall of windows rather than shoved in a back corner. Screens overhead, air conditioning on, and enough machines that a full class can go at once without anyone waiting a turn.
Rower, SkiErg, sled, bike. If that list sounds familiar, it is because it is most of a HYROX floor, which is exactly why our HYROX stream trains here rather than simulating the stations with something close enough.

- Air bikes
- Spin bikes
- Treadmills

A proper studio, behind its own door.
Reformers set against a full mirrored wall, white brick, and windows on two sides. It is a quiet space by design, so a class is not competing with a barbell landing on the other side of a partition.
The same space resets between sessions. Reformers for Reformer Pilates, then mats, light dumbbells, weighted balls, rollers and bands for Mat Pilates. Both are included in a Collective membership, so you can book Reformer at lunch and lift in the afternoon without leaving the building.

The practical questions.
Can I just use the gym on my own?+
Yes. Plenty of members train solo and always have. The floor is yours whenever we are open, and the difference is that there are qualified coaches standing on it. Ask for a spot, get a second pair of eyes on a lift, or ask why one side feels heavier than the other. Coach written programming is there if you want it, never something you get pushed into.
Do I need to book to use the gym floor?+
No. Open gym does not need a booking, just turn up during opening hours. Coached small group sessions and Pilates classes are capped and do need a spot booked in the app, which is what keeps class sizes small and the coaching attention high.
Is the Pilates studio a separate space?+
Yes, behind its own door and away from the noise of the gym floor, with its own mirrored wall and natural light. It resets between sessions, reformers for Reformer Pilates and mats for Mat Pilates, and both are included in a Collective membership.
What should I bring on my first visit?+
Training shoes, a water bottle and whatever you are comfortable moving in. Towels are provided and there are lockers for your bag. A coach will walk you around the floor and show you where everything lives before you start, so you are not working it out mid session.
I have not trained in a gym before. Will I feel out of place?+
Most of our members walked in feeling exactly that. The floor is not set up as a performance space, it is set up as a working floor, and the coaching team is there specifically so nobody has to guess. You will be shown what to do and where to do it, from the first session.
Can I see the place before I join?+
Yes. Send an enquiry below and we will organise a time to walk you through the floor, the conditioning zone and the studio, and answer whatever the photos have not. If you would rather train than tour, the 7 Day Member Experience gives you full access for a week.
